INTRODUCING EID AND DIWALI CARDS
Date: 18-Jul-2009
This year there is an exciting addition to the fantastic range of cards. We are now offering you the opportunity to send a card to celebrate Eid and Diwali.
Muslims around the world celebrate two ‘Eid’ festivals - Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr. Eid means recurring happiness or festivity. Eid al-Adha is a festival of commitment and obedience to Allah. Eid al-Fitr celebrates the end of Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting. Prayers, feasts and family get-togethers are the major highlights of these celebrations.
Diwali (the Festival of Lights) is a five-day festival celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jains. Lamps are lit to signify victory of good over the evil within an individual and the awareness of an inner light, which outshines all spiritual darkness.
In 2009, Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on 19th and 20th September and Eid al-Adha on 26th and 27th November. Diwali will be celebrated on 17 October.
Choose from two outstanding designs for each of these special occasions. Your recipients will be overjoyed to receive such a card!
